Welcome to the Bureau of Youth & Adolescent Health and Education

The Bureau of Youth and Adolescent Health and Education welcomes all to explore the MBKHouston.org and www.usa.gov/education webpage. The My Brother's Keeper (MBK) initiative aims to address inequitable conditions faced by our city's youth, particularly boys and young men of color and aims to provide everyone with the tools and information needed to properly educate and motivate our next generation of leaders. Some of these tools can be provided by colleges and universities, that are great helpers to their graduates when it comes to assistance in writing resumes or creation of leadership programs through which students may get real-world experience. However, not everyone has the opportunity to take part in such events. That's either because they're trapped in class with essays or other assignments, or can’t physically attend the event. We need more inclusive learning programs, more workshops on any educational issue (whether it's extracurricular activities, tuition or essay help) that are online and accessible. Together as the Bureau of Youth and Adolescent Health and Education, MBK Houston and US Government is here to serve youth, adolescents, parents, communities, and businesses in the greater Houston area.
